Kelly Damann is a composer/lyricist, educator, and musician from Mascoutah, Illinois. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education with an Instrumental and Vocal Emphasis from McKendree University, and currently serves as the Band and Choir Director for Illini Central Middle and High School in Mason City, Illinois. Kelly is actively involved in the Greater St. Louis area's theatre community, and has performed in the pit orchestra for dozens of productions. When not performing with groups like the St. Louis Brass Band or the No-Name Chorale, he often serves as an educator, panelist, and clinician in the area. Kelly is a Golden Apple Scholar, a former President of the McKendree Collegiate NAfME Chapter(‘19-’20), and is currently nearing completion of his first full-length musical with playwright/lyricist Straton Rushing. | kdamannmusic@gmail.com
