Kelly Damann is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and educator from Mascoutah, Illinois. His debut album, Songs About Switzerland, comes out December 12th, 2026 and hits streaming services on December 18th, 2026. Kelly’s background playing multiple genres of music across various instruments directly influences the wide range of sounds and genres that his music lends itself to. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education with an Instrumental and Vocal Emphasis from McKendree University, and currently resides in Central Illinois. If not taking song requests at Jim’s Steakhouse in Peoria, IL or doing dueling piano shows with Piano Wars, Kelly is probably consuming Mediterranean food, falling off of a skateboard, or practicing. *Go practice*
Kelly is a Golden Apple Scholar, a proud Salyers Percussion Educational Artist, was a participant in ILMEA’s 2022 Emerging Leaders Conference for leading Pre-Service and Early Career Educators, was recognized for Meritorious Service in the category of Early Career Educator by the Illinois State Board of Education in 2023, and was a clinician for the 2024 Illinois Music Education Conference.
